At April’s crafty gathering we decided that flowers and plants would be our optional May theme! I’ll admit, I was a little biased towards this one… I’ve been itching for an excuse to wear one of the flower crowns I made back in 2019 ◡̈ It was easy to gather up some inspiration for this theme!
I have a few versions of the Daisy Chain Dress I might crochet…
My frontrunner is no surprise – a rainbow gradient version that I am picturing over a tank top and jeans! I may start this one at the BYO Craft Meetup this Friday ◡̈ I’m hoping I can finish it in time for it to be my PRIDE Trivia outfit, but that may be a stretch.
But also, imagine this in a solid black or white? Or made using a gradient yarn? Or with beads string between the daisies?
This painted pot was so cute I decided to make a whole event about it! On June 6th we’ll be getting together to paint some plant pots.

You could paint a terra cotta pot, or an upcycled glass jar, or get really ambitious and use an old bottle + some air dry clay to make your own custom plant container!
Fill it with real plants, dried florals, handmade paper or felt flowers, faux florals from the craft store… etc.
